Money transfer
For money transfer operators
Diaspora remittances, transfers between countries of the region, cash pick-ups at paying agents: YARDA scores every transfer against the habits of your own network, and gives your compliance team what it needs to investigate and report.
What YARDA looks at
The signals of a transfer network
Every transfer is compared with the history of its sender, its receiver, its agent and its corridor. Built-in typologies also spot the known patterns of the region.
A new corridor or receiver
A sender sending for the first time to a country or a person, at an amount far from their habits.
Structuring
Several significant transfers, each under a limit, that together exceed it: the split operations the uniform law targets.
A much-solicited receiver
One person paid by many different senders within a week.
Pass-through accounts
Most of the money received from others sent on at once: the pattern of transit accounts.
A dormant account waking up
A large transfer from an account left idle for months.
Agents outside their habits
Each agent’s volume compared with its own usual limits, in the console’s analyses.
Typologies start in observation: they record without deciding, until your team switches them on after replaying them on your history.
Useful data
What your system can send
Five fields are enough to start: reference, date, amount, sender and receiver. Each of the following refines the analysis:
- the sender’s and receiver’s countries, and the corridor;
- the agent and the pick-up point;
- the channel and the type of operation;
- the currency: every transfer keeps its own, and the euro and the CFA franc, linked by a fixed parity, compare without approximation.
For compliance
From the alert to the annual report
Your compliance officer finds in the same console everything to present to the CENTIF, the BCEAO and your banking partners.
Investigated cases
Related alerts are grouped into cases, with their timeline, comments and, if your policy requires it, four-eyes approval.
The suspicious transaction report
The draft is written in the case and fills the CENTIF Côte d’Ivoire form. It is sealed when you record its filing.
Figures for the annual report
Reporting statistics and the map of suspicious operations, two of the points required by BCEAO Instruction 001-03-2025.
Sanctions screening
Your customers compared with the United Nations consolidated list and the national list of Côte d’Ivoire, each match examined by a person.
