Using the YARDA console, task by task
Short guides for the teams who use the console: what each page does, with the labels you see on screen and screenshots of the version in service. Choose what you came to do, or start from your role.
By task
Seven guides, in the order of the work: from the first sign-in to the suspicious transaction report, then the settings, the data and the team.
First steps
First steps in the console
This guide is for anyone opening the console for the first time, whatever their role. It explains how to sign in, what the menu and the home page show for your role, how to reach a page, an action or an answer in a few keystrokes, where to find the help of every page, how to train, and how to set the console up the way you like.

Handling alerts
Handling alerts
This guide is for analysts, and for the supervisors who back them up. It describes the alert queue, what an alert shows of its transaction, the three possible decisions and how to take them from the keyboard, then the “To approve” inbox, where what awaits a second person arrives.

Working a case
Working a case
This guide is for the analysts and supervisors who investigate. It describes how a case opens, how to keep it up to date, gather alerts and files, ask the customer for information, set a due date, then close it, alone or with a second person’s approval.

Reporting to the CENTIF
Preparing and recording a suspicious transaction report
This guide is for the analysts who write the report and the supervisors who approve it. It follows the report through the console, from the draft in the case to the record of its filing. For the substance (when to report, what to write), read our compliance guide to the suspicious transaction report.

Setting the policy
Setting the policy, the rules and the lists
This guide is for client admins, who change the organisation policy, and for supervisors, who read it and keep the rules and the lists. It explains how to change a threshold, choose the acts under four eyes, write a rule, replay it and have it approved.

Connecting your data
Connecting your data: files, database, API
This guide is for client admins, and for the analysts or supervisors who import files. It presents the three ways of sending your transactions to YARDA, from a file dropped in the console to the real-time API, and the page that follows your go-live.

Team and security
Managing the team and security
This guide is first for client admins, who invite their colleagues and set the security of access. Its second part concerns everyone: protecting your own account, ending a session, and knowing who opened your space.

By role
Your role decides the pages of your menu. These are the guides that describe your work.
Read only
You read your organisation's screens without changing anything: the home page, cases, transactions, the annual report and analyses.
Analyst
You handle alerts, investigate cases and write suspicious transaction reports.
Supervisor
You approve what needs a second person, watch the health of the service, keep the rules and lists and read the audit trail.
Client admin
You set your organisation's policy, connect your data, manage the team and the API keys.
Help inside the console
- Ctrl K, or Cmd K on a Mac, opens the search: type the name of a page to go there.
- The “Glossary”, at the foot of the menu, defines the AML/CFT terms and each indicator of the console.
- “What’s new”, at the top of every page, presents the latest improvements of the console.
